1. Services Provided
Empowered Access provides college counseling and educational consulting services, including but not limited to cohort-based programs, individualized counseling, and other consulting services related to college admissions. All services are delivered virtually, and specific details of each service are provided at the time of registration or upon request.
2. Payment Terms
Clients agree to pay the fees associated with the chosen service at the rates disclosed at the time of registration or consultation. Payment plans may be available for specific services. All fees must be paid before services commence unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Empowered Access accepts payment via credit card through the payment portal that will be provided to clients. Payment is due according to the terms outlined in your service agreement or at the time of booking.
Late payments may result in the suspension or termination of services. If an agreed payment plan is in place and a payment is missed, Empowered Access reserves the right to pause services until the outstanding amount is resolved.
3. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds for services are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on the specific service purchased. For cohort programs, refunds may only be issued if a written cancellation request is received prior to the start of the first session. No refunds will be granted after a cohort or individual service has commenced unless there are extenuating circumstances, which will be determined at the discretion of Empowered Access.
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel any individual session without penalty. Failure to do so will result in the session being counted as used. In the case of cohort programs, no makeup sessions are provided for missed group meetings.
4. Service Commitments
For individual services and premium contracts, the duration of services is outlined in the service agreement. Cohort programs will follow a structured timeline, as indicated during registration, typically over a 6-week or academic-year timeframe.
Empowered Access does not guarantee that any student will be admitted to any specific college or university. Our role is to guide, advise, and support students through the admissions process to help them submit the strongest possible applications. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions to which students apply, and no guarantee of success or outcomes is made by Empowered Access.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information throughout the admissions consulting process. This includes academic records, personal statements, and other relevant application materials. Failure to provide accurate information may impact the effectiveness of the counseling process.
Clients are expected to participate fully in the process and meet deadlines for submitting materials to Empowered Access in a timely manner. Empowered Access is not responsible for missed deadlines or incomplete applications if clients do not meet the necessary requirements.
6. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Empowered Access takes confidentiality seriously. All personal information shared by the client, including academic and personal details, will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing the services agreed upon. Empowered Access complies with all applicable privacy laws and will not share your information with any third party without your consent, except where required by law.
Clients will have access to a secure online platform (CounselMore) to track progress, store documents, and communicate with Empowered Access. CounselMore follows strict data security standards to protect your information.
7. Limitation of Liability
Empowered Access and its consultants are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services or reliance on any advice or recommendations provided. This includes, without limitation, indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or any other damages arising from your use of the website or consulting services.
